The Dodge City A's are a summer collegiate baseball team and play a 40 game schedule in the Rocky Mountain Baseball League. The Rocky Mountain Baseball League consists of the Liberal Bee Jays, Denver Cougars, Hays Larks, Colorado Roughriders, Fort Collins Foxes, Western Nebraska Pioneers and the Gameday Angels.
A's players come to Dodge City, from all parts of the country and representing all levels of college baseball, with the goal of winning the National Baseball Congress Tournament in Wichita.
A's players also make important contributions to the community. During the summer, A's players and coaches conduct baseball/softball camps for area youth. The camps are free to participants and allow area youth to meet and work with college baseball players and coaches. The camps provide a rewarding experience for both the youth of our community and the A's players.
Our players live with host families who generously open their homes to support the A's program. Our program would not exist without our many great host families. The relationship developed between players and their host families is a very special one, contact us to become a host family today.
Financial support is very important to providing a quality baseball program. We have great sponsors who make it possible for us to offer free admission to all home games. Please pass along your appreciation to our sponsors.
Each summer we have many volunteers who freely give their time and talents because they care about our players and this program. Thanks to each of you who work so hard, often without notice or recognition, to make the A's program a success.
